About Dr Jones
Louisa is a dedicated medical professional who brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Paddington Family Practice. Louisa initially pursued a career in microbiology, earning a PhD, before transitioning to medicine. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2010 and started her journey in general practice in 2013.
Louisa's interests in paediatrics, geriatric medicine, and women's health reflect her commitment to addressing healthcare needs across various life stages. Louisa has also completed a Diploma of Child Health and training with Family Planning NSW.
A core tenet of Louisa's practice is advocacy for her patients; she believes in supporting them throughout their healthcare journey. Louisa's holistic approach to medicine, coupled with her background in microbiology, equips her with a unique perspective in patient care.

Dr Jones bills privately. Fees and billing are based on both complexity, and length, of appointments. Please ensure that you book sufficient time. If unsure, please book a longer appointment. Mental health appointments require a longer consultation.
Standard appointments are up to 15 minutes long
Long Appointments are between 15 to 30 minutes long
Extended Appointments are those longer than 30 minutes

Online Medicare Claiming – Medicare Rebates
Your request for a Medicare rebate will be transmitted electronically, eliminating the need for you to lodge your claim. Please ensure you have updated your bank details with Medicare and your address details are correct.

Standard Appointment up to 15 minutes $100.00 (Medicare rebate of $42.85)
Long Appointment between 15 and 30 minutes $170.00 (Medicare rebate of $82.90)
Extended Appointment over 30 minutes $240.00 (Medicare rebate of $122.15)
GP Mental Health Care Plans less than 30 minutes $240 (Medicare rebate of $103.70)
Antenatal consult up to 15 minutes $120 (Medicare rebate of $53.70)
